Description
This is a set including a plaster nest and a feeding area.

This product has a tube on the left side, but we also offer three other variations: with tubes on both sides, with a tube on the right side only.

Use this for capturing and observing queen ants, as a new home for ants, or for expanding the nest and relocating ants using the side holes.
It can also be used for independent research projects.

Nest size:
Approximately 15 cm x 10.6 cm x 4 cm

Feeding area size:
Please choose between approximately 11 cm x 4 cm x 8 cm or approximately 9 cm x 6.2 cm x 9 cm (as shown in photos ② and ③). Photo ④ is an example.

To provide water, open the back and spray with a mister.

We can also change the position of the open tube hole on the left side, but this will take some time.

Each item is carefully handmade, so please understand this before purchasing.

[Watering Guide and Timing]

◆ Immediately after purchase (first time)
?Spray 5-6 times from the back with a mister.
?Ideally, the plaster should be lightly moistened throughout.
?After watering, wait about 30 minutes to 1 hour for humidity to stabilize before introducing ants.

◆ Regular watering (during keeping)
?Spring to Autumn: Once every 3-4 days
?Winter (indoor keeping): Once every 5-7 days
?Approximately 1-2 sprays with a mister is recommended.
?The sign for watering is when the plaster starts to look completely dry!

◆ Precautions
?Be careful not to over-water and create puddles.
?Excessive humidity can cause mold and discomfort for the ants.
