France Antique Door Screen Partition Volley

Listing Price: ￥39,000

This is a listing for one French antique door.
My measuring tape only goes up to 150cm, so there may be some error in the dimensions.
If you are serious about purchasing and require precise measurements, please let me know. It may take some time, but I will prepare a new measuring tape and re-measure.

Dimensions:
Height: Approx. 177cm - 178cm
Width: Approx. 58.5cm
Thickness: Approx. 1.5cm - 2cm

This door is heavy, but a single woman who is not particularly frail could manage to carry it from room to room with some effort. It is quite heavy, but can be moved little by little within a room.

It seems sturdier than a typical armoire door, so it might have been a closet door.
The carved design, often seen in French interiors, is very atmospheric and beautiful.

The back is relatively plain, with what appears to be the back of a lock mechanism visible.
(Images 16 through 19 show the back.)

Due to its significant weight, I suspect it would be difficult to use as a functional door. (I'm not an expert, so I can't be sure.)
Its substantial presence makes it ideal for leaning against a wall as an interior display piece. It will greatly enhance the atmosphere of your room.

Repainting it might create a different ambiance.
The original color, with its deep richness, is indescribably wonderful.
This is one of a pair that I have kept, and I am now listing this single door.

The room where it is stored is dark, so I haven't been able to capture its true color accurately. I have another one of these doors stored in a room with sunlight, and I've taken a partial photo of that door to show you a color closer to the actual item (this is the last photo).

The other photos have a strong yellow cast due to incandescent lighting. In reality, the color is a more subdued, dry tone.
The type of wood is unknown. It's a deep brown, but not quite black, with a pleasant sense of weight and richness.

I am now selling even the antiques I cherished due to a need to declutter.
The price includes the Tanomeru-bin shipping service, so I believe it offers excellent value.

Tanomeru-bin requires at least one week for delivery, and the transaction should be completed within approximately two weeks.
