Soba Zaru, Soba Plate, Round Zaru from Yamanashi, at the foot of Mt. Fuji
The material is high-quality suzutake bamboo that grows wild between the 2nd and 3rd stations of the sacred Mt. Fuji, and it is meticulously crafted by veteran traditional craft artisans.
It is very durable, and because each piece of material is trapezoidal, it drains well and is hygienic.
The round zaru is recommended for serving somen, soba, and other noodles, or for draining boiled ingredients.
■Please note that as this is a handmade product, there may be differences in shape and size for each item.
■Regarding the color of the bamboo, freshly harvested bamboo is greenish, but it gradually turns yellowish. The color may vary depending on the season, so please understand this in advance.
■As this is a handmade product using natural plants, there may be some cracks, splinters, color changes, or stains. We kindly ask for your understanding of the texture of natural material products.
■After use, please air dry in a well-ventilated area and store in a dry condition.
