Ehime Prefecture Product Kawachi Bankan (Ainan Gold) 8kg Imperfect Fruit, Tree-Ripened
How about some Ainan Gold, made by my father?
These are imperfect but the taste is the same.
A juicy Japanese grapefruit, Kawachi Bankan
Kawachi Bankan is a citrus fruit of the Buntan family, named after the place where it was discovered, Kawachi, and because it is a late-ripening citrus.
Our home is located on the mountaintop in Ainan Town, with no other houses around. It's a place with very clean air, so please rest assured.
The current mikan are very juicy, rich in flavor, and incredibly refreshing and delicious!
Although they are juicy, they are not difficult to peel and have a firm flesh. After June, the moisture content decreases slightly, resulting in a crisp and refreshing taste similar to Buntan. We hope you enjoy the changing flavors depending on the season.
The price includes the box.
My father's mikan are also popular at the local Michi-no-Eki (roadside station)!
Storage Method: Upon arrival, please store in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight with good ventilation.
Also recommended for juice and jelly!
We keep ours chilled in the refrigerator and eat them after a bath, or I always include them in my daughter's lunchbox.
We can include an Orange Cutter if you need one! Please let us know on the transaction screen if you require one. It is unopened and purchased from Daiso.
