The pine needle pattern is considered an auspicious design, so I purchased these at Takashimaya for celebrations like wedding anniversaries.
It is said to symbolize marital harmony, as the two needles' bases connect and do not separate.
Size (approximate)
Diameter: 9.5cm
Height: 7.0cm (approx. 9.0cm with lid)
Photo 3
When 150cc of water is poured, it reaches the white line, so please use this as a capacity guide.
Color: A slightly reddish dark brown.
The pine needle pattern is only on the inside of the lid; the bowl itself has no pattern.
Material
Purchased about 10 years ago, so I do not know if the bowls are made of wood or resin, nor the manufacturer. For those who appreciate the pattern and shape.

Both bowls have a stain on the base of their pedestals, resembling residue from sticker removal (indicated by white circles). Please only purchase if you understand that they are sold as-is.
There are no cracks or chips, as they have only been used once or twice. However, please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about minor scratches that are only visible when held up to the light.
