Description
Maireana Blue Bush with a blue design label. A conifer suitable for outdoor cultivation.
The Maireana Blue Bush (Maireana sedifolia) is a rare native Australian plant (Aussie plant) with unique silver-blue, succulent, eraser-like leaves. It has high ornamental value and is popular as an accent for dry gardens and mixed plantings. It is a slow-growing, compact evergreen shrub with semi-cold hardiness, making it possible to plant directly in warmer regions. However, the key to cultivation is to manage it in a sunny, well-draining location, paying attention to overwatering.
