Spiraea 'White Gold'

Spirea 'White Gold' Cuttings
Sold in their cultivation tray ?

A new variety with bright lime gold leaves, creating a refreshing combination with its white flowers!

Very vigorous and can be used in various locations.
In sunny spots, the bright leaf color is maintained for a long time, and the autumn Momiji is also wonderful.
An excellent foliage plant that can be enjoyed for a long time throughout the four seasons.

Golden young leaves sprout from early spring.
As the leaves unfurl, fluffy white pom-pom-like flowers bloom abundantly from early summer.
After flowering, it grows vigorously and remains a beautiful lime color through summer and autumn, then turns red for Momiji in autumn, allowing you to enjoy it again.

It is deciduous in winter and overwinters.
Very resistant to heat and cold, it can be grown almost anywhere in Japan. It is an excellent flowering shrub with long-lasting ornamental value from sprouting to Momiji.

Photos 8-10 show the parent plant.

Photo 11 shows a cutting of a different variety, but of the same size as this seedling. It was planted in the ground at the end of summer, overwintered, and photographed the following spring.
After overwintering, it grew rapidly during the spring growing season, branched out, and became a handsome, bushy plant in just one season!
Photo 12 shows the plant in its third year. One plant can grow into a sufficiently large specimen in three years.

If you plant it in the ground this year and allow it to establish roots, I believe it will grow to a considerable size by next spring. (^^?
