Description

This is a specimen of *Megasoma rex*.
It seems they were previously grouped together with *Megasoma actaeon*, but classifications were revised in recent years, with the eastern populations now identified as *M. actaeon* and the western populations as *M. rex*.
It is said to be from Peru, but there is no label.
There are no visible scratches or scuffs, but as it is a wild-caught specimen, there may be fine, invisible scratches or scuffs. Please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive to such details.
We will do our best with shipping, but antennae may come off. Please understand this in advance.
