Attractant Liquid and Beeswax
This is a Japanese honey bee swarm capture attractant set that starts in March.
The beeswax contains honeycomb debris. Melt the beeswax with a gas burner or dryer and thinly coat the inside of the waiting box, ceiling, bottom board, and entrance.
Spray the attractant liquid inside the waiting box and on the outside near the entrance each time to scent the box for honey bees. It is particularly effective for unoccupied or new waiting boxes to spray the inside and outside from around February, repeating the process of spraying and drying several times to help it cure.
