Super Spicy Chili Pepper Seedling "Mima Kara" Rare Variety, Bare Root, Set of 3, Limited Quantity Remaining
Mimakara chili peppers are a specialty green chili pepper from the Mima region of Tokushima Prefecture, with a spiciness comparable to habanero (over 100,000 Scoville units) and a sweetness similar to melon (around 14 degrees Brix). Gekikara Yakumi Mimakara, developed in 2006 as a town revitalization project, is a stir-fried and simmered green chili pepper in soy sauce, bonito flakes, and sesame oil. It is popular as a topping for rice and as a condiment, offering a delicious umami flavor within its intense spiciness.
Variety and Characteristics: A thick-fleshed, intensely flavorful green chili pepper cultivated in the mountainous areas of the Mima region. It has a very high sugar content, offering not just spiciness but also sweetness and umami.
The second image shows last year's cultivation.
It grew large enough to exceed the height of the balcony railing, and we harvested over 200 peppers from a single plant.
We sowed seeds for home cultivation, but since many sprouted, we are offering them to those who need them.
We will select healthy seedlings, keep them moist, and ship them via postal service.
We will pack them carefully, but please understand that some leaf damage may occur during transport.
If delivery is delayed, the freshness of the product may decrease.
Please purchase with your understanding.
