[Seed Sowing Procedure Reference]
① Use a well-draining, inorganic-based soil mix.
(A mixture of fine-grained Akadama soil, pumice, and Kanuma soil is recommended.)
② Soak the seeds in lukewarm water (approx. 30°C) for 12-24 hours before sowing.
*Soaking for a longer period is effective in improving germination rates for hard-shelled seeds.
③ Moisten the soil thoroughly and place the seeds horizontally or slightly buried.
(Cover with about 2-3mm of soil.)
④ Keep in bright shade and maintain a consistently moist soil surface or use a bottom watering method to prevent drying out until germination.
⑤ Optimal germination temperature is around 25-32°C.
Germination will be more stable if temperatures are maintained above 20°C even at night.
⑥ Once germination begins, gradually introduce airflow to prevent stuffiness and mold.
*It is recommended to remove the sealed environment immediately after confirming germination.
⑦ After the true leaves have developed, gradually transition to a wet-dry cycle.
(Continuous overwatering can cause root rot.)

*Sowing during the high-temperature period from spring to before midsummer is recommended.
