?Up to 50g per roast. More than this will make it difficult to achieve even roasting.
?During roasting, shake vigorously for about 10 minutes, stirring the beans inside (the more you shake, the better the result).
?Adjust the distance from the heat source with the intention of heating the beans from the core, not just the surface.
?Getting too close to the heat source can cause burning or scorching.
?Being too far away will take a long time to roast and can cause the flavor to dissipate.
?Roasting results depend on time and distance, but it's best to start by steaming from a slight distance at first.
?For light roasts, be aware that if the roast is too light, the beans may be too hard and damage your grinder.
?For dark roasts, a significant amount of smoke will be produced, so please be considerate of housemates and neighbors.
?During roasting, it is best to concentrate as much as possible and catch as much information from the beans as possible, such as the surface color, the timing of the popping sound, smoke, and smell. This is the key to roasting as intended. The taste of the same green beans will change significantly depending on the roasting level, so please enjoy the changes.
?When removing the beans, please use gloves or mittens (the entire metal part, including the lid opening, will become hot! Be careful not to burn yourself).
?When washing the net, please wash only the metal parts (the wooden handle may discolor).
