■Artwork Description
CONCLAVE is a composition that creates tension like a meeting without a center, where eight lights face each other equally on a circular plane. The lines emanating from each vertex intersect with each other, creating a visual impression not of simple radiation, but of dialogue and balance woven together. Rather than converging towards the center, the entire piece is formed by the simultaneous tension of forces from eight directions, leaving a sense of movement in a static state. The dense lines in the front and the layers of color in the back overlap, creating a multi-voiced depth on a flat surface.

The layers of colorful threads create a vibrancy and exhilaration, as if luminous bodies are conversing simultaneously. Yellow, orange, green, blue, pink, and red tones remain distinct without being lost, so the impression changes slightly depending on where you focus your gaze. The taut lines of warm colors are prominent in the foreground, while cool and intermediate colors in the background support the expanse. Despite the many colors, they are not scattered but form a cohesive density of structure.

The tight texture of the BLACK board supports the vibrancy of the threads, making the outlines of the pattern and the three-dimensionality more distinct. As the background recedes, the threads appear to float, intensifying the alien quality of the structure itself. Functioning as a light-absorbing base, the contrast of color and form stands out more aggressively.

We design a visual trance state through threads, angles, and cycles. Mandalas are not mere decorations, but structures that alter the viewer's brain rhythm. The moment order breaks down and is reconstructed. We hand-weave each piece to capture the patterns born at that boundary. Everything is a device for immersion. It is a piece that subtly shifts the center of gravity of a room when placed within it.
