Kutani Ware Sake Set: Tokkuri (Sake Bottle) and Ochoko (Small Sake Cups) - Imperial Palace Cart Design, Traditional Craft

Vintage Japanese Pottery

This is a sake set of Kutani ware, a traditional craft from Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan.
It was stored in the warehouse of my old family home.

Both the tokkuri (sake flask) and ochoko (sake cups) are decorated with the Gosho-guruma (imperial carriage) motif.

It was carefully stored in its box. I believe it is unused, but as it has been stored for a long time, I am listing it as close to unused.
The box has signs of age and dirt.

I have thoroughly inspected it to ensure there is no damage, but as it is a very old item, there may be some minor scuffs or dirt from storage. Thank you for your understanding.
The tokkuri on the far right appears to have noticeable crazing, likely due to long-term storage. (Image 5)

As this is a fragile item, it will be carefully packaged and shipped from a Yamato Transport service center via RakuRaku Mercari便 (easy shipping service).

We welcome those who appreciate old Japanese pottery.
