【Unused, with original box】Gold-enameled Hundred Flowers Blooming Ochoko (sake cup) Set of 2, Vintage Chinoiserie

Thank you for viewing!

[Episode/Condition]
Purchased in Chinatown, USA, a long time ago.
I fell in love with its beauty at first sight and bought it, but I couldn't bring myself to use it, so it has been kept unused in its original box, sleeping soundly at home.

Sake cup body: As it is unused, there are no cracks, chips, or noticeable peeling of the gold leaf. It is in overall excellent, pristine condition. The bottom is also clean (please see image 8).

Outer box: Features an elegant woven design.
The top and sides are clean, but there is a slight peeling/lifting of the paper on the bottom surface (please see image 13).

Please review the photos and purchase with the understanding that this is a long-term home storage item.

[Product Features]
Gorgeous gold leaf and hundred-flower pattern: Both the exterior and interior of the cup are intricately decorated with luxurious gold leaf and a vibrant array of countless flowers (Hyakka Ryoran), creating a breathtaking beauty and sense of luxury (please see images 1-7).

Cute design on the inner bottom: A pair of affectionate birds are depicted on the bottom of the sake cup, adding to the charm when sake is poured (please see image 3).

Comes with an elegant outer box: Housed in a formal outer box with a design resembling woven gold threads, it is perfect for collection or storage (please see image 10).

[Size (approximate)]
It is an elegant, small size that fits comfortably in the palm of your hand (please refer to image 4 for a sense of scale when held).

[Shipping]
As this is a delicate ceramic item, each sake cup will be carefully wrapped with cushioning material such as bubble wrap, placed in its outer box, and then the entire package will be thoroughly protected against water and impact before shipping.

Will be delivered via anonymous shipping (Mercari delivery).
