Description
Thank you for looking.
This is a case for goshuincho (temple/shrine seal books).
This is a large size, so it can hold two books. It is shown in the photo with two large goshuincho books inside.
* **Amulet/Exorcism:** The asanoha (hemp leaf) pattern has been believed to have the power to ward off evil.
* **Healthy Growth:** Hemp has strong vitality and grows straight and fast, so it carries the meaning of wishing for the healthy growth of children. For this reason, it is a common pattern for baby clothes and children's kimonos.
I made one for myself and found it very easy to use,
so I made this one with a cute fabric.
The lid part is made with fusible interfacing for a firm finish.
I wanted it to be light yet sturdy, so I paid close attention to the details.
