Asiatic darners are rare and have a short emergence period, making them difficult to collect.

These are beautiful specimens, but as they are field-collected, there may be minor scratches or scuffs. Please refer to the photos.

After collection, they were kept in a triangular paper envelope for half a day to allow for defecation, and then treated with ethyl acetate nail polish remover gas for insecticidal and preservative purposes.

The female's compound eyes were painted with a light yellowish-green color and reinforced with tissue paper.
The male's compound eyes were dried as they are.
Both male and female have had their internal organs removed, and their abdomens have been painted with lemon yellow from the inside and reinforced with stuffing.

After drying, they were frozen for over 2 days to prevent insect damage, then placed in a plastic case with a desiccant. The gaps in the plastic case lid were sealed with cellophane tape.

Specimens are fragile and easily broken. They will be shipped via Takkyubin Compact with fragile item handling. However, we cannot be held responsible for further damage during transit. Thank you for your understanding.
