Description
About the Shrine ?
Enoshima Shrine is famous as one of Japan's three great Benzaiten shrines.
It consists of three shrines: Hetsunomiya, Nakatsunomiya, and Okutsunomiya, where three sister goddesses are enshrined.
Legend has it that a dragon once lived on Enoshima, and many legends related to dragons remain. Because of this, Dragon God worship, where dragons are revered as Dragon Gods, flourished on Enoshima.
Traces of Dragon God worship can still be found throughout the shrine today. Charms are one of them.
For those who find it difficult to visit due to distance or physical limitations, you can still receive blessings by simply obtaining a charm ☆
