1950’s Mr. & Mrs. Egg Eggnog Shaker Mugs Vintage Winter Holiday

True vintage promotional shaker/drinking cups, Mr. & Mrs. Egg. Adorable faces painted on an early melamine plastic with screw-on tops, shaker and lid inserts. She has sweetly closed eyes, a candy can striped scarf and handle, he has a charming wink, with a blue bow tie and striped handle. Stamped F&F Mold & Die, Dayton, Ohio/Made in U.S.A./ 2 (her), 4 (his). I believe the novelty use for these cups was to fill the cups with warm or cold eggnog and use the top shaker for nutmeg. Could be used for serving boiled eggs with salt, or hot cocoa with cocoa powder! Pre-loved; he has a bit more wear than she; some paint loss in his face. Some small marks/discoloration overall.
