Description
This blue fabric shoulder bag is a vintage piece from Flamstead of Vermont, a brand active in the 1960s and 1970s known for its handcrafted accessories It features a different nautical coastal boating scene on each side. Has wood closure on top and the strap can be worn doubled as shown to be handheld or over shoulder, or it can extend all to one side and be worn longer. It is surprisingly roomy and the wood closure is quite effective at keeping things secure without a zipper or clasp This amazing bag is quite collectible and I haven’t been able to find another similar style. NOTE: the bag has light staining on the bottom and along the wood top as well as more noticeable staining inside. I have NOT tried to remove them as I don’t want to damage the bag.
