There is a very small chip on the edge of the lid, as pictured. Otherwise Good vintage condition with some wear to the gold-tone banding as seen in photos. Please view all pictures. This is a beautiful vintage lidded bowl made by Sterling China in East Liverpool, Ohio, USA. It features a distinctive Union Pacific railroad style winged Streamline engine logo in brown and green on a white vitrified china body, accented with gold-tone banding. The lid does not fit tightly but is a match in size. I am unsure exactly what this piece was used for. Details: - Manufacturer: Sterling China, East Liverpool, Ohio - Material: Vitrified China - Pattern: Winged train engine logo with gold trim - Dimensions: Approximately 3.5 inches tall (with lid) and 4 inches in diameter - Condition: Good vintage condition with some wear to the gold-tone banding as seen in photos. On the unglazed portion of the bottom rim (foot) there are some small chips from normal wear.
