The base model, the YOB-431, is a bestseller oboe widely used by concert bands, adult orchestras, and students.
It is popular for its excellent intonation, ease of maintenance, product stability, and high cost performance.

By protecting the inside of the bore with a resin layer, the precision and stability of the interior, which is the lifeblood of a wind instrument, have been dramatically improved. The tone quality and intonation are exceptionally clear, and this oboe employs revolutionary technology to address the inherent problems of warping and cracking due to temperature and humidity differences on the inside and outside of the bore. The duet of rare traditional wood and advanced resin processing technology has created a plus value that goes beyond mere combination.

While Yamaha instruments are known for their accurate intonation, this model further enhances pitch accuracy and durability.

The YOB-431/432 series is an entry-to-intermediate level instrument that inherits the basic design of custom models.
It is increasingly popular for student use and as school equipment.

By adopting the bore, tone hole arrangement, and bell shape of custom models, it achieves a rich and stable tone, allowing players to concentrate on their performance with comfortable response.
It offers a comfortable blowing resistance and excellent operability due to its ergonomic key design.
