1934 Chicago Worlds Fair Etched Brass Souvenir Plate Century Of Progress 5”x4”
N/A
Original souvenir metal plate from the 1934 Chicago Worlds Fair (A Century of Progress) featuring detailed etched Art Deco illustrations of several fair attractions including the Sky Ride, Streets of Shanghai, Carillon Tower, Dairy Building, Illinois Host Building, and other exhibit buildings. The plate measures approximately 5 3/4 x 4 1/2 and has an attractive aged brass finish with natural patina from age. Condition is very good overall with light surface wear, scattered scratches on the reverse, and verdigris along portions of the edges consistent with age. Please review all photos carefully, as they are considered part of the description. Note: This is not cardboard with foil overlay. It is metal and appears to be likely brass. Vintage and preowned items may show minor signs of age and use consistent with normal ownership.
