Vintage Hand-Tooled Tan Leather Western Belt with Brass Buckle

This is a gorgeous belt suitable for a man or woman—I’ve worn it and always got compliments! Hand-tooled basketweave pattern across the full length of the belt. Tan leather with a warm, broken-in tone and gorgeous patina.  Solid brass buckle, western style. No maker's mark or brand stamp, but the size is embossed (38) and this is clearly by a skilled maker using quality leather.  Gently used with minor wear. Surface scuffs on the leather and some creasing, with natural patina on the brass buckle. All flaws are featured in the photos and don’t detract from the beauty or quality of this item. It would be suitable for a daytime wedding but also for casual or office styles inspired by Americana, workwear, or even the collegiate look. I imagine Robert Redford wearing it in the 70s.  Length excluding buckle: approx. 41.5 inches Height: just over 1 inch Buckle length: approx. 1.8 inches Buckle height: approx. 1.6 inches Belt accommodates waists from about 34 inches through 39 inches. The smallest hole looks to have been added.
