His wife Mary returned the Bible to the Wadsworth Homestead and the Aunts Mariah and Nancy presented it to Marsden Goodier. This is a wonderful bible that should interest people who collect New England memorabilia and ephemera, particularly New Haven CT as well as New Haven NY where the respective cousins were prominent members of society. Also a priceless keepsake for anyone who has these Wadsworths or Goodiers as ancestors.. This is a well loved Bible so the front board is detached and there is staining, too.
