The Great Heritage series, where Tatsuya Naka learns the philosophies and techniques passed down through various martial arts.
The second installment takes us to the head temple of Shorinji Kempo!

I want to learn the great heritage left by the founder, Doshin So.
Tatsuya Naka visited the Kongo Zen So-honzan Shorinji in Shikoku.

He was greeted by leading instructors of Shorinji Kempo.
Yasuhiro Arai (Dai Hanshi, 9th Dan, Chuhoshi)
Mitsuru Sakashita (Sei Hanshi, 7th Dan, Shohoshi)
Hiroshi Inoue (Jun Hanshi, 6th Dan)

Precious techniques are demonstrated one after another. Tatsuya Naka learns each one.
Surprised voices are heard regarding Naka's speed of mastery.

In return, Tatsuya Naka explains his own karate techniques.
Applause erupts multiple times in the dojo.

He experiences the Kongo Zen Chinkon-gyo in ceremonial robes and visits the 5.5-tatami mat dojo left by Doshin So.
He touches the great heritage with his heart. Tatsuya Naka and Shorinji Kempo, though seemingly completely different, create a mysterious scene where their roots appear to be connected.

Four hours filled with surprise and emotion. You will surely smile too.
