Description

B-Tube [Low B Extension Tube] (Miyazawa Flute)

Material: Ag925 Sterling Silver
Reference Price: ¥27,500

Compatible Manufacturers (Models): Miyazawa (Atelier Series), Pearl (Brillante, Dolce Primo, Elegante)

As shown in the 3rd photo, it was also attachable to a Pearl flute's foot joint. The compatible manufacturers listed are based on successful attachments confirmed with flutes I have on hand, and do not represent official compatibility.

*Please note that attaching to other manufacturers' or models is at your own risk.
*When attached, the lowest note C will change to B, meaning the lowest C will no longer be playable. If attached to an H foot joint, the lowest note B will change to B flat.

[From Miyazawa Flute HP]
By inserting the B-Tube into the tip of the foot joint, the H note (B note) can be produced using the fingering for low C. The material used is 925 silver, also used in silver models, so it does not compromise the instrument's resonance or projection. Furthermore, it provides the stability in the upper register and rich tone characteristic of H foot joints.
