Underwood Pickup for Double Bass (Upright Bass)
UNDERWOOD/PICKUPS
- This is a type that is installed in the wing slot of the bridge. While it is easy to clamp, adjustment to the gap of the slot may be necessary. If it is loose, it is recommended to insert paper (copy paper, etc.), thin leather, or a piece of wood, and play it as tightly as possible.
- The part where the shield is inserted is fixed to the back of the tailpiece with the included cable tie-like band.
- I also use the Realist Lifeline, but the Underwood produced a better sound with more definition for arco playing (bowing).
- It was actually used until recently and has no malfunctions.
