Description
vintage wicker & lucite purse appears to be from the 1950s or 1960s, made by Tropica Miami Florida. It Features a plastic coated woven wicker basket structure, frequently associated with MCM, boho or coastal fashion. Embellished with a central diamond-shaped panel featuring floral appliqués, often made of celluloid or similar plastic materials. The floral accents are in pinks oranges and corals and all our securely in place. The top lucite panel also has floral design but please note, one of the cream colored leaves is missing. Twisted lucite handles and gold tone hardware. The twist lock clasp works beautifully. I believe that the handles, top structured closure and front diamond is lucite. Please note one crack in the lucite top. Please see last photo. Plastic coated interior is clean Bag measures approximately 12 x 8 x 3 1/2
