【Made in Japan da vinci】 707 Filbert Brush Set No. 22 & No. 24

A vintage set of two Da Vinci 707 hog bristle filbert brushes, size 22 and 24. These brushes were produced in Japan between the introduction of the consumption tax in 1997 and their discontinuation in the early 2000s, under license from the German high-end brush manufacturer Da Vinci and Namura Daiseido.

These are filbert brushes (flat round brushes) for large-scale works.

The original gold price stickers and actual selling price stickers with a 5% consumption tax added are attached.

The discontinuation in the early 2000s and the actual selling price stickers with a 5% consumption tax confirm the production period.

The current equivalent class of brushes after discontinuation is the Da Vinci 7423 series.
The actual selling price of the current 7423 series hog bristle filbert brushes is approximately ¥7,000~ for size 22 and approximately ¥9,500~ for size 24.

Made in Japan Da Vinci brushes are rare vintage items that are no longer available.

These are high-end brushes with JAPAN and da vinci 707 engravings, known only to those in the know.

Comes with original protective plastic bags.
The plastic bag for size 22 is half missing, but the plastic bag for size 24 is still unopened.
