Charming vintage wind-up musical jewelry box designed in the shape of an ornate grand piano. The gold-tone exterior features deeply embossed leaf and scrollwork detailing, turned legs, a decorative pedal assembly, and miniature black-and-white piano keys.  The hinged piano lid is decorated with a colorful floral needlepoint-style insert beneath a clear protective covering. When opened, the music label reads “Les Flots du Danube / Danube Waves / Donauwellen,” identifying the melody played by the music box.
