This is a beautiful vintage vase marked “Made in Japan” on the base, likely mid-century (circa 1950s - 1960s). The vase features a matte black lacquer-like finish with an embossed design of a perched bird among flowering branches, hand-painted in red, gold, and yellow tones. Measures approx 10” tall.
